The right diamond for each age group
Keep younger divisions on smaller diamonds and older divisions on full-size ones by limiting each division to the diamonds that suit it.
Diamonds are shared between age groups, towns and often softball. SportsPlanr builds the regular season, playoffs and tournaments from the diamond time you already have — games, practices, interlock travel and blackouts solved together in minutes, and re-planned when rain takes out a weekend.
Describe your league's rules in plain language, or use the forms. A Spot Check tells you straight away if they can't all be met — before you generate anything — and you confirm every change.
SportsPlanr is not a diamond-booking system, and it is more than a baseball schedule maker. It takes the diamonds and permitted time your association already has and turns them into a season that works.
Any one of these is easy on its own. The hard part — the part that eats a volunteer's weekends — is all of them at once: diamonds, divisions, practices, travel and blackouts competing for the same time. SportsPlanr solves them as one problem, and tells you before you generate if they can't all be met.

Every diamond has its own available time. An unlit diamond's evening ends at dusk; a lit one's runs late. Games are only placed where they fit.
By default a team plays once a day. Allow two games on one day at the same diamond, with the gap you set between them, for the divisions or teams that play doubleheaders.
Each division sets the days and times its teams can travel between towns, and away games are placed inside those windows.
Rep teams' tournament weekends and holidays, entered once as blackout dates and respected across the whole season.
Earlier starts for younger divisions and later ones for older players, with allowed days and times set per division or team.
Practices compete for the same diamond time as games, so they are scheduled together rather than squeezed in afterwards.
Balanced home and away games, opponents spread across the season and enough days between games for every team.
Every part of your year is built from the same diamonds, in the same place, by the same scheduling engine.
Baseball seasons are planned around rain-outs, and that is only the start: a diamond closed for maintenance, a town that loses a permit, a team moving divisions. SportsPlanr re-plans only the games affected, with every rule still applied — no rebuilding the season, no starting over in a spreadsheet.
The same engine schedules baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, basketball and volleyball. It has solved complex multi-city league logistics since 2018 — balancing games, practices, travel and contended field and facility time across dozens of sites.

“The time savings were incredible… Hands down, I would use SportsPlanr again.”
Yes. An interlock is scheduled as one league that holds every town's teams and diamonds. Each town's blackout dates and travel windows become rules, and the whole interlock is solved together.
Yes, when both are scheduled in the same SportsPlanr organization. One subscription covers every league and program, and baseball and softball divisions draw on the same diamonds' available time without double-booking. Sharing diamonds between two separate SportsPlanr organizations is in development.
Yes, where you allow them. By default a team plays once a day. You can allow doubleheaders for a division, a town or a single team: two games on the same day at the same diamond, with the minimum gap you set between them.
Use Reschedule. Say what changed, such as a diamond closed for the weekend, and pick the date the change takes effect. Only the games that have to move are re-planned, with every rule still applied, and you review each move before anything is published. Individual games can also be moved by hand.
No. SportsPlanr schedules the diamond time you already have. Enter the time your permits give you as available time for each diamond, and SportsPlanr builds the league's schedule inside it.
Yes. Each division sets the days and times its teams are able to travel, and SportsPlanr places away games inside those windows, alongside every other rule.
Yes. Practices compete for the same diamond time as games, so SportsPlanr schedules them together, and a block of time can be kept for practices only.
Yes. Playoffs use seeded matchups, configurable series formats and a structure that progresses as teams advance. Tournaments get round-robin group play, bracket structure, seeding and game progression. Both are built in the same place, from the same diamonds, as your regular season.
Most organizations generate a complete schedule in minutes and re-check a rule change in seconds. Next season is faster still: clone this season's settings and start from there.
Yes, and more. A typical schedule maker or schedule generator pairs teams and assigns times. SportsPlanr generates the full baseball schedule — regular season, playoffs and tournaments — while solving diamonds, practices, travel and blackouts together, and tells you before it generates if your rules can't all be met.
Pricing is published per organization, never per player or per game — see plans and estimate your price. More questions are answered in the main FAQ.
